Free Traffic Exchanges Vs. Paid Autosurf Programs

There are two types of web site traffic exchanges availabletoday. One is called a Free Traffic Exchange and the other is aPaid Autosurf. These are two completely different services. Ifyou understand the differences between them, you can use both toyour advantage.
A free traffic exchange is one of the better ways for web siteowners to get free website traffic to their sites or affiliatemarketing campaigns. Free Traffic Exchanges allow you tomanually surf other members websites, and for each viewing, youget so many of your own URLs and banners added into the rotationfor other members to see. There are hundred of free trafficexchanges online today, and each one has thousands of memberssurfing each day. That's a lot of potential traffic you can getfor little or no cost for your advertising efforts. All you needto do is spend some time surfing the exchanges to get creditsfor your websites to be viewed by thousands of potentialcustomers.
Paid Autosurf programs pay members a fee for surfing websites intheir exchange. Their hope is that as you surf, you will beinterested in their client's offers and make a purchase or atleast let them capture your e-mail address so they can try toup-sell you later. Also, as the name "Autosurf" would indicate,you do not have to view each website as they rotate. You couldclick on the surf button and walk away for 5 minutes until theautosurf session is complete.
The benefits of these two services depend on what your mainobjective is. If you want to advertise your website or affiliateprogram, you are much better off joining a free trafficexchange. If you want to earn money each day and could care lessabout advertising anything, you would be better of joining aPaid Autosurf program. Free traffic exchanges all but forcemembers to view each and every website they visit and requirethem to manually click after viewing each one. These manualtraffic exchanges have somewhat of a captive audience. For freemembers to get their websites shown in rotation for othermembers to see, they must surf the
exchange, one website at atime. This is one of the best ways to very cheaply get yourwebsite or promotion in front of many potential customers.
Some free traffic exchanges offer paid incentives for their Promembers. For example if someone upgrades their free membershipto a Pro membership, they can start earning money for thecredits they earn. If they surf enough, they could actually getpaid cash for their efforts. But the problem with this is thefree traffic exchanges don't usually pay out lots of money,since most of their members are free. They can generatesubstantial income, but their business model is not gearedaround making large payouts to members.
The Paid Autosurfs on the other hand are setup for generatingmember's money. They pay you for performing a service and someof them pay you quite well. There are many ways these companiesmake money. They get paid from advertisers, to investing in theForex (foreign exchange) market to playing the odds. So manypeople who join these programs don't understand how to use them.Many of these people lose money. The membership fees you pay toearn your daily gains on are not returned. You earn money fromyour membership fee amount. So if you invested $30 and neversurfed a website, then guess what? You're out $30. If you onlysurfed half of the days, you lost money. If you don't have thetime to spend on these programs each day surfing, then don'tjoin them. You also need daily access to a computer with a webbrowser to earn money with these programs. If you don't, thenthese programs are not for you.
So the bottom line is, if you're a website owner or directmarketer, one of the best ways you could advertise your businessto many potential customers very inexpensively, would be to usea free traffic exchange. If you just wanted to earn money forsurfing multiple websites each and every day for a certainnumber of days, then Paid Autosurf programs are a better choice.
